Planning, Development & Extension Education Committee

This committee works towards a balance of property development, protection of natural resources and the common good for residents.

This could mean addressing (re)zoning issues, developing long term plans for property, approving lake districts, creating conservation districts, or planning for things like battery storage systems.

We also get reports from the WI- Extension Education program. The Extension office is a result of a partnership between the U.S. Department of Agriculture (federal government), University of Wisconsin-Madison (state government) and Kenosha County (county government). They then work with a variety of agencies to educate on agriculture, horticulture, health & well being, nutrition, youth education (4H/Youth in Governance, etc), and community development.
